The 2002 Annual Meeting of The American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) was anything but ordinary. Attendees convened in New Orleans the week of October 6-10, 2002, and were amazed to find an entire radiation treatment center installed on the show floor, complete with a linear accelerator.
