RAD Technology, LLC was formed to design, develop and market revolutionary proprietary technology for radiation shielding applications, and to launch a range of products incorporating this technology for temporary or permanent use. The Company is privately held by a group of entrepreneurs with vast professional experience in varied sectors including science, medicine, construction, business and law. The Company’s unique team, products and technology offer the medical and industrial markets a radical approach to radiation shielding including the ability to expedite traditional radiation shielding construction and installation.

  • First PRO System Completed With the installation of a Varian Clinac 18, February 2001.
  • Bureau of Radiation Control, State of Florida PRO System inspected and registered, June 2001.
  • Joseph Ting, Ph.D. PRO System independently inspected by Radiation Physicist, Joseph Ting, Ph.D., July 23, 2001.
  • Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission RAD relocated the PRO System from Florida to Canada, installed a Varian Clinac 1800, and received a license to construct, commission and decommission by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission in record time, August 2002.
  • Joseph Ting, Ph.D., PRO System independently inspected by Radiation Physicist, Joseph Ting, Ph.D. in Canada, September 8, 2002.
  • ASTRO 2002 October of 2002, RAD relocated the PRO System from Canada to New Orleans. RAD demonstrated the benefits and features of its technology at ASTRO 2002 by constructing a complete radiation therapy structure on the show floor in just 9.5 hours. Click here for more.
  • Varian Medical Systems, Inc. RAD and Varian Medical Systems executed an agreement to develop the North American market for rapid deployment and installation/deinstallation of radiotherapy clinics utilizing the companies’ products and to promote each other’s products.   • BrainLAB AG BrainLAB and RAD Technology jointly announced their sales and marketing cooperation agreement to better serve both companies’ customer base worldwide, including the development of a new RAD product designed jointly by BrainLAB and RAD for the purpose of housing a pre-installed Novalis System.
